We are looking for a Business Officer to join our team and contribute towards the effective management of the finance, HR, governance and administration functions within Obair Newmarket on Fergus CLG. This is a flexible role where you will support the organisation on a full time basis.

Skills & Experience
- Comfortable with producing and preparing financial reporting for internal and external purposes
- Strong business acumen
- Experience of preparing financial reports an advantage
- People management and HR skills an advantage
- Ability to work with multiple demands and deadlines
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Good organisational skills with an ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Excellent communication and IT skills
- This role requires a candidate with strong financial skills therefore accountancy/bookkeeping experience is desirable.
Main Duties
- Management of the company’s financial planning and risk management by preparing and presenting quarterly financial reports.
- Develop and implement effective financial management reporting, policies and procedures throughout the organisation ensuring all reporting deadlines are adhered to.
- Ensure reporting requirements of our charitable organisation are met
- To prepare and process weekly payroll, compile payroll reports and ensure compliance with all regulatory authorities
- To comply with all Revenue reporting requirements
- To manage and administer the HR function
