We have teamed up with The Clare Echo newspaper to ensure that every person availing of our Meals on Wheels service will now receive a weekly copy of the paper every week. This means that as well as a hot meal our service users are kept up to date on local matters in their community. The papers are “hot off the press” so to speak which means they are delivered direct and first hand to each customer, reducing any potential risk of contamination. We have been lucky to receive great support from The Clare Echo with Páraic McMahon delivering meals throughout the Covid-19 crisis.
