We always knew our Village punched above its weight but now its official!! Tripadvisor have named Newmarket on Fergus in the Top 10 Destinations in Ireland in 2016 and we could not be prouder. From our beautiful scenery and fabulous eateries to our spectacular archaeological sites there is so much on offer for visitors. This is a village of great diversity with legendary characters and local folklore while also offering so much to families. We are very lucky to have an award winning all ages Playground and Recreation area (O’ Regan Park) ,Dromoland Castle, Mooghaun Hillfort, annual Village Carnival Music and Arts Festival(Village Carnival) , Heritage Week. Add into the mix an excellent Malaysian Restaurant and the most delicious authentic Italian Takeaway and its no wonder we charmed our way into the Top 10!!
